Terms of service
Dubble Pty Ltd - Terms of Service
Effective Date: 10 May 2025
Welcome to Dubble! These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your access to and use of the website, services, and eBike products (collectively, the "Services") provided by Dubble Pty Ltd (ABN: 42681474420) ("Dubble," "we," "our," or "us") via www.dubble.au ("Site").
By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional terms and policies referred to here.
1. Legal Compliance and Use of Products
Dubble eBikes are configured to comply with current Australian eBike regulations, including New South Wales (NSW) laws. In NSW:
- Street-legal electric bicycles must be limited to a maximum output of 500 watts and a maximum speed of 25 km/h when using throttle or pedal assist.
- Any changes to this configuration that result in exceeding these limits render the eBike illegal for use on public roads and paths.
Our bikes may be configured to allow unlocking for higher speed or power output for off-road or private property use only.
⚠️ WARNING: Any use of a Dubble eBike above the legal limits on public roads is unlawful. Riders are responsible for complying with local, state, and national laws. Dubble disclaims all liability for unlawful use.
Unlocking your eBike does not automatically void your warranty. However, any modification or tampering with electronics, firmware, frame, or drive system may void the warranty at Dubble’s sole discretion.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use our Services or purchase products.
3. Orders and Payment
All purchases are subject to acceptance and availability. Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST unless otherwise noted.
We accept payments through major credit cards, Buy Now Pay Later services (e.g., Humm), and other providers such as Stripe, PayPal, ZipPay, and AfterPay. Your use of third-party payment processors is subject to their terms and conditions.

All bikes are shipped in a semi-assembled state. Signature on delivery is required. Additional fees may apply for deliveries to remote or regional areas. If delivery fails due to the recipient not being available, redelivery fees may apply.
Assembly services are available in select locations for an additional fee. This must be selected during checkout.

12. Safety & Usage Recommendations
We recommend all riders:
- Wear an Australian-standard helmet while riding.
- Inspect their bike before each use for loose bolts, tyre pressure, and brake function.
- Avoid riding in severe weather or off-road terrain unless the bike is designed for such use.
- Be mindful that fat tyre eBikes are heavier and require more control when braking and maneuvering.
13. Modifications & Off-Road Use Disclaimer
Dubble eBikes are shipped configured to comply with current NSW road rules, including a 500W output limit and a speed cap of 25 km/h when operating on public roads.
If a user chooses to unlock or modify the eBike to exceed these specifications:
- The bike is no longer legal for public road use.
- It may only be used on private property or off-road where permitted.
- The rider is solely responsible for any legal implications of such use.
Dubble reserves the right to deny warranty coverage for any issues caused by or related to user modification of the electronics, firmware, frame, or power system.
